Paul Brooks
Paul Brooks was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 1989 before training as a solicitor at Simons Muirhead & Burton in London, qualifying in 1992. In 1993 he returned to the Bar where he specialised in criminal law, first at Doughty Street Chambers, and then from 2008 at Thomas More Chambers, London. Paul also holds a diploma in oil and gas law from the University of Dundee. Paul joined Practical Law Business Crime and Investigations as a Senior Editor in 2016. He sits as a Deputy District Judge.
Clare Finburgh-Delijani
Clare Finburgh-Delijani is Professor in the Department of Theatre and Performance at Goldsmiths, University of London. She has written many books and articles on theatre from the French-speaking world and the UK, including special issues of Théâtre/Public on postcolonial theatre (2023); Watching War on the Twenty-First-Century Stage (2017);Rethinking the Theatre of the Absurd: Ecology, the Environment and the Greening of the Modern Stage (2015, with Carl Lavery) and Jean Genet (2012, with David Bradby). She is editor of A New History of Theatre in France (2024) and is writing Spectres of Empire: Performing Postcoloniality in France on theatre that addresses France’s colonial past, and postcolonial present
Harold Finley
Harold Finley is a writer, director, producer, and former CEO/Executive Director of Stage Directors UK, which he transformed into a trade union in 2023. He co-founded and produced Black, Queer & Fierce!, recognised as the first arts festival to showcase work from a Black queer perspective. He is also the founder and editor of The Kael Report, a monthly blog offering insightful commentary on London and New York theatre.
Cherno Jagne
Cherno is currently the COO of the leading Barristers Chambers, Cloisters. Cherno is also an award-winning Writer, Director, Producer and Actor, having gained acclaim for his debut short film, The Backway. As well as Cherno’s dual background in the corporate world and entertainment industry, he is also involved in a number of charitable initiatives in his home country of the Gambia.
Rajiv Menon KC
Rajiv Menon KC is a barrister whose main area of work is criminal defence, both at trial and appellate level. He also specialises in related areas of criminal justice including inquests, inquiries, police actions, extradition, regulatory law, criminal judicial review and ECHR applications.
Rajiv has a particular interest in cases involving human rights violations, miscarriages of justice, political protest and the abuse of power by the state. He was instructed in the Stephen Lawrence Inquiry, the Hillsborough Inquests, the Grenfell Tower Inquiry and the UK Covid-19 Inquiry. He currently represents 12 individuals and organisations at the Undercover Policing Inquiry.
Monay Thomas
Monay Thomas is an actor, writer and film-maker from South East London. She is a member of the National Youth Theatre, the BFI Film Academy and Sounds Like Chaos Theatre Company. She has trained on Theatre Peckham’s Originate programme, the National Theatre’s Writing for Theatre course and the Almeida’s Anthem writers programme. She is also the creator of ENLIGHTEN, a project created to uplift black creatives and those from under-represented backgrounds by creating accessible resources offering guidance and support. Monay graduated with a law degree from SOAS in 2025.
Rodney Cyrus-Reid
After spending time working for a number of educational organisation offering support to young people and their families, Rodney has now embarked upon a career in counselling. Despite never formally training as an actor, Rodney has a life-long interest in acting and a belief in the benefit of broadening access to the arts.
